Although the remote looks identical to the replacement, it only works when directly pointed at the tv and you've got to really make sure its aligned. Our previous remote would control the tv from any room in the house. It has no bluetooth function like our old one. Maybe it is faulty? We cannot dictate by voice into it like our old one to search. Please advise?

Unfortunately, this version also does not support voice control or voice search.
